Most of us have a connection to someone suffering from mental health challenges - family, friend, partner, work colleague. Thankfully, the stigma around mental is [slowly] but surely breaking down.  
We decided to support My Black Dog Charity; Because we also have a personal connection to mental health AND The Smug Dog was inspired by a black dog.  Kismet? 

My Black Dog is a charity that offers peer-to-peer support for people who are struggling with their mental health. All of their volunteers are people who have lived experiences of their own mental health battles and understand what you are going through. They are free and online - making it within the reach of everyone regardless of your story.
